I qualified as a solicitor March 2002 and I have been with Lyons
Davidson since 1998. Prior to this I worked as a Senior Risk Management
Consultant with AEA Technology plc (1997-1998). I have also worked
for the Health and Safety Executive as a Major Hazard Industry
Inspector (1989-1989).

| Background: |
I lead the Health, Safety and Environment liability Group of Lyons
Davidson. Before converting to law I spent over seven years as an
Inspector in the Health and Safety Executive which was followed by
some time as a Risk Management Consultant in the Health and Safety
and Environment Division of AEA Technology. My experience includes:
inspecting, investigating and prosecuting for the HSE; advising organisations
and governments on health, safety and the environment both at home
and abroad; presenting papers at domestic and international conferences;
and civil and criminal litigation. I am a corporate member of the
Institute of Occupational Safety and Health and a Registered Safety
Practitioner. I have a Master's Degree in Environmental Toxicology. |
